How to use Mac Clean Pro?

1. Once Mac Clean Pro has been installed, click on “Start System Scan” button to run a scan. Alternatively, use One Click Cleaning feature in the left panel.

2. Once scanning is done, click on “Clean Now” button to fix all detected issues.

Which operating system is Mac Clean Pro compatible with?

Mac Clean Pro is compatible with OS X 10.7 and higher and requires 50 MB of free space to install.

Does this program work with PowerPC Macs?

No, Mac Clean Pro doesn’t work with PPC architecture. It only supports Intel-based architecture.

Are some features locked in this product?

The unpaid version of the product will run a scan and show the detected issues; however, you have to purchase the product to unlock its full functionality and clean the detected errors.

Mac Clean Pro shows all items have been cleaned. But they still appear in their containing folder.

Mac Clean Pro is programmed in the Sandbox environment. It is an environment where all your write-protected files stay unharmed. Therefore, Mac Clean Pro only cleans the files that are not write-protected, keeping your Mac safe and secure. These files can be permanently deleted when you delete them manually.

On cleaning items through Mac Clean Pro, they re-appear in the next scan.

There are some files/ applications that are write-protected in your Mac. These files are not permanently deleted with Mac Clean Pro since Mac Clean Pro is programmed in the Sandbox environment. It is an environment where all your write-protected files stay unharmed. Mac Clean Pro deletes only the files that are not write-protected, keeping your Mac safe and secure. You need to delete these files manually to ensure that these files never re-appear in scanning.

On scanning, some items do not show in the scanned items list but they exist on my Mac.

Your Mac contains some write-protected files. These files are not listed in the scanning list of Mac Clean Pro. Your unlisted files may be write-protected.
